ITINERARY

Day 1 | Hanoi – Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort (L, D)

- 08:00:  Meet at 85–87 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Hanoi, and depart for Mai Chau via National Road 6 and Thung Khe Pass, enjoying views over Mai Chau Valley.

- 12:00:  Arrive at Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort. Enjoy lunch at the resort restaurant overlooking Hoa Binh Lake and the surrounding mountains.

- 14:00:  Check in at the resort.

After check-in:  Cycle approximately 5 km through the bamboo forest from the resort to Go Lao Waterfall. Enjoy a refreshing swim and immerse yourself in the peaceful, cool atmosphere of the waterfall. Continue cycling for approximately 1 km to visit a local floating house and fish farm and admire the panoramic views of Hoa Binh Lake.

Late afternoon:  Return to Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort. Free time to relax or enjoy the infinity swimming pool.

- 19:00:  Dinner and traditional dance show. Overnight at Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort.

The activity departure time may be adjusted depending on the guest’s actual check-in time and operating conditions.

Day 2 | Mai Chau – Pu Luong Nature Reserve (B, L, D)

Guests may select one of the following Pu Luong experiences, subject to travel timing, weather and operating conditions.

OPTION 1 | PU LUONG NATURE & WATERFALL EXPERIENCE

- 08:30:  Depart from Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort by car with a local guide and travel to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Arrive at Ban Don and begin a scenic walk through Ban Uoi and Ban Lan, enjoying fresh mountain air, village scenery and terraced rice fields. Continue by car to Ban Hieu and Hieu Waterfall. Enjoy a refreshing swim and experience the natural beauty of the waterfall.

Lunch:  Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Pu Luong.

Afternoon:  Travel back towards Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort. If time permits, stop at Ban Van on the return journey for a short visit and views of the surrounding terraced rice fields. Return to the resort and enjoy free time.

Evening: After returning to Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the resort.

OPTION 2 | LOCAL CULTURE & VILLAGE DISCOVERY

- 08:30:  Depart from Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort by car with a local guide and travel towards Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Stop at a local chopstick workshop to learn about traditional production methods and local craftsmanship. Continue to Eo Ken, a scenic stop where guests can enjoy the mountain landscape and take photos. Proceed to Ban Bang for trekking through the peaceful local countryside.

Lunch:  Continue to Pu Luong and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon:  Take a leisurely walk around Ban Don Valley, surrounded by rice fields, villages and mountain scenery. If time permits, stop at Ban Van on the return journey for a short visit and terraced-rice-field views. Return to Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort in the late afternoon.

Evening: After returning to Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the resort.

Day 3 | Mai Chau – Kayaking – Hanoi (B, L)

- 08:00 - 09:00:  Breakfast at the resort.

- 09:30:  Kayak on Hoa Binh Lake and enjoy the morning scenery.

- 10:30:  Return to Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort.

- 12:00:  Lunch at the resort and check out.

- 13:30:  Depart for Hanoi.

- 17:00:  Arrive in Hanoi city center. End of services.
